No. Many clients contact us with only an initial idea or rough scope. We help define the project requirements, determine what documentation is needed for permits, and coordinate drawings if required as part of the process.
As the general contractor, we handle the permit process when required. This includes preparing permit documentation, coordinating supporting drawings, submitting permits, communicating with local building departments, and scheduling inspections.
No. We coordinate all required trades as part of the project. Licensed plumbers and electricians are scheduled and managed within the overall construction timeline, so you don’t need to manage multiple contractors.
As the General contractor, we manage the day-to-day construction process, including scheduling, trade coordination, and on-site oversight. We handle communication between all parties and keep the project moving according to the agreed plan.
You are kept informed throughout the project and involved in key decisions, such as approvals, selections, or any necessary changes, but you are not expected to manage the work, coordinate contractors, or be on site daily. Our role is to take that responsibility off your plate while keeping the process clear and transparent.
This depends on the scope of work, the areas of the home being remodeled, and the level of disruption involved. Some projects allow partial occupancy, especially when work is limited to specific rooms or areas. Larger remodels, projects involving structural work, utilities, or multiple living spaces may require temporary relocation for safety and practicality.
We discuss living arrangements early in the planning phase so you clearly understand what to expect and can make informed decisions before construction begins. Our goal is to help you plan ahead and avoid unnecessary stress during the remodel.
During remodeling, it’s not uncommon to uncover hidden conditions once walls, floors, or ceilings are opened. These may include structural issues, outdated electrical or plumbing systems, or conditions that do not meet current code requirements.
If unexpected conditions are discovered, we review the findings with you, explain what was found, why it needs to be addressed, and outline the available options. Any required changes to the scope, schedule, or cost are discussed and approved before additional work proceeds. Our goal is to keep the process transparent and avoid surprises while ensuring the project is completed safely and correctly.
Yes. Clients are welcome to select their own materials and finishes, including fixtures, tile, flooring, cabinetry, and other design elements. We coordinate the use of client-selected materials as part of the project and review them to ensure they are compatible with the approved scope, installation requirements, and overall schedule.
If needed, we can also help you select materials and finishes based on your budget, layout, and project goals, and make sure they are appropriate for the intended use and installation.
