Project Overview
Full bathroom renovation with a layout change
Bothell
This bathroom renovation in Bothell involved a full update of the space, including a significant change to the layout. The goal was to replace the older, closed-in feel with something more open, practical, and comfortable for everyday use.
Originally, the bathroom had a standard tub-and-shower combination, oak cabinets, and beige floor tile. The overall look felt dated. The toilet area was separated by a partial wall, which didn’t provide much privacy, especially since the master bathroom was designed to be used by two people at the same time.
In the new design, the tub was removed and replaced with a walk-in glass shower, which helps natural light from the window reach more of the room. The layout was adjusted to create better flow and a more open feel, while also making the toilet area fully private. A new vanity in warm wood tones was installed, paired with neutral wall colors and matte black fixtures for a simple, modern look.
Black hexagon floor tiles were used throughout, including in the toilet area, to keep the design consistent. Updated lighting, fixtures, and finishes bring everything together and make the space feel brighter and more balanced.
The end result is a more functional bathroom with better light, improved layout, and a clean, contemporary feel.
