Project Overview

Garage conversion

Kenmore

This project involved the complete conversion of an existing garage into additional living space, creating a comfortable and functional extension of the home. Our team managed the entire process from the initial planning stage to final construction, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for the homeowner.

One of our main responsibilities was handling the full permit process with the city. We prepared all required documentation, drawings, and application materials, and coordinated directly with the city’s planning and building departments. By carefully managing this process we were able to obtain the building permit in just four weeks.

Once the permit was approved, construction began immediately. The project included transforming the garage structure into living room and bathroom designed to blend naturally with the rest of the home. This involved structural adjustments, insulation, electrical work, interior finishes, plumbing works (including ground plumbing) and all necessary upgrades required to meet current building codes.

The entire construction process, including all inspections and final approvals, was completed in five weeks. As a result, the homeowner gained a bright, comfortable new living area that seamlessly integrates with the existing house while adding valuable usable space.
